Daniele Catteddu, Managing Director EMEA of the CSA

Daniele is Managing Director, EMEA, responsible for executing the CSA’s strategy across Europe.Previously, Catteddu worked at ENISA (the European Network and Information Security Agency), where he was responsible for supporting EU Member States in implementing the security obligations in the new European Framework Directive on Telecommunication. He has also worked within ENISA as a risk management expert, on various activities in the area of the Emerging and Future Risks, and in particular, had a leading role in developing EU cloud security research. Before joining ENISA, Daniele worked as an Information Security consultant in the banking and financial sector. Daniele is the author of the study: “Security and Resilience in Governmental Clouds” as well as co-author of the reports: “Cloud Computing: Benefits, risks and recommendations for information security” and “Cloud Computing: Information Assurance Framework”. He is member of various national and international security expert groups, invited speaker at conferences and workshops, member of the Steering Committee of CAMM (Common Assurance Maturity Model) and reviewer for FP7 open calls, research paper and PhD thesis. Daniele graduated from the University of Parma (Italy) in Business Administration and Economics, and holds CISM and CISA certifications.


Jim Reavis, Executive Director of the CSA

Jim Reavis is the Executive Director of the CS, and was recently named as one of the Top 10 cloud computing leaders by  SearchCloudComputing.com. Jim is the President of Reavis Consulting Group, LLC, where he advises security companies, large enterprises and other organizations on the implications of new trends and how to take advantage of them. Jim has previously been an international board member of the ISSA and formerly served as the association’s Executive Director. Jim was a co-founder of the Alliance for Enterprise Security Risk Management, a partnership between the ISSA, ISACA and ASIS, formed to address the enterprise risk issues associated with the convergence of logical and traditional security. Jim currently serves in an advisory capacity for many of the industry’s most successful companies
